IR-WORLD.com was founded in 1999 by Joachim Brunner and has its head office in Buchkirchen/Wels (Austria). To provide our North American and Australian customers with optimal support, the company has also established a branch office in Vancouver, Canada.

Since the foundation of IR-WORLD.com, the company has primarily focussed on the translation and distribution of international news and press releases in the German-speaking area (IRW-Press). With its wide portfolio of products, IR-WORLD.com also supports companies listed on the stock exchange to maintain a good relationship with their regular customers as well as to attract and acquire new shareholders (IRW Spot, IRW Lead and CEO Roaster).

In 2004, IR-WORLD.com acquired the stock exchange letter "Smallcap Investor", through which Joachim Brunner releases his regular market reports and investment advisories. Another IR-WORLD.com e-publication is "Venture Minerals", a stock exchange letter acquired in 2007 and written by a reputed mineral resource expert.

IR-WORLD.com's latest acquisition is the news website www.investor-sms.de, which was taken over in 2010.
