CMX Capital Markets Exchange AG announces new management

Zurich, 9 October 2009, CMX Capital Markets Exchange AG (“CMX”) announces that the appointment of four new board directors was approved an at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders convened on 29 September 2009.

Profiles for the four new board directors are provided below.

Mr Ulrich Schürch, Chairman of the Board

Mr Schürch (aged 47) has more than 30 years experience in Swiss banking and private banking. Mr Schürch has managed numerous international capital market transactions in Europe and overseas and has worked for several Swiss banks and financial institutions. He started as Managing Director Wealth Management for a small Swiss bank in St.Gallen and then joined one of the major Swiss Private Banking institutions in Zurich as Senior Portfolio Manager Special Mandates and Vice President. Thereafter he became a Senior Partner of Premium Strategy Partners AG, Zurich and finally he founded his own company, Tell Capital AG, St.Gallen, a Swiss company active in Asset Management, Venture Capital Financing and Advisory for early stage companies.

Mr Schürch graduated with a Bachelors Degree in business administration from the BVS-Business School St.Gallen and speaks German and English fluently.

Mr Marcus Wohlrab, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director

Mr Wohlrab (aged 46) has extensive senior level experience in the stock exchange sector. From January 1998 to September 2000, Mr Wohlrab served as Director Europe and Middle East for NASDAQ International and from October 2000 to April 2001 as Executive Vice President Market Development for Easdaq, the pan-European Stock Market for growth companies (later acquired by NASDAQ).

Earlier in his career Mr Wohlrab has been Assistant Director for the Union Bank of Switzerland, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Paine Webber International, and Vice President for Wood Gundy/CIBC/Oppenheimer.

Mr Wohlrab graduated with a B.Sc. (Mathematics and Geology) from Devon University and is fluent in Italian, French, German and English.

Mr Michael Ashton, Chief Financial Officer and Board Director

Mr Ashton (aged 48) has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector, particularly insurance. Earlier in his career he was Finance Director for Methuen Underwriting a leading Lloyd’s of London insurance business which following an MBO was acquired by ACE Limited the global insurance and reinsurance group. At ACE, Mr Ashton held various roles including HR Director for their Lloyd’s operations and Chief Operating Officer of ACE Global Markets, at the time, the largest underwriting syndicate at Lloyd’s.

Mr. Ashton graduated with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Keele and is member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Ms Julia Seebacher, Board Director

Ms Seebacher (aged 43) is currently a senior manager with a Zurich based international trust company that provides tax and legal consulting, management of trusts, foundations and companies including trustee, and directorships, art management and other family office services. Previously Ms Seebacher has held a number of management roles with leading Swiss professional firms including: GSM Securities Management AG, Credit Suisse Fides Trust, and AIG Private Bank, Zurich.

Ms Seebacher studied economics at the University of Zurich and is a certified Swiss Fiduciary. Mrs Seebacher speaks German, English, French, Italian and Spanish fluently
