EmerGeo Solutions Wins Strategic Contract in Middle East

Oct 17, 2008 -- VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- EmerGeo Solutions (EMG), a leading provider of Emergency Management software and consulting services, is pleased to announce that it has won a key strategic contract in the Middle East.

EmerGeo has been contracted to design and implement sustainable and comprehensive Emergency Management Plans and Systems in the region. The contract will involve the provision of the complete range of emergency management services including conducting Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability Assessments, developing emergency response and recovery plans, training, business resilience and implementing strategic programs. Dean Monterey, EmerGeo's Director of Emergency Management Services, is the lead consultant and will utilize his 30 years of practical international experience in emergency management as a responder, manager and senior business and government advisor.

EmerGeo is furthermore pleased to announce that Mr. Bjorn Rosenlykke has been hired as EmerGeo Solution's Regional Manager in the Middle East. Reporting to Mr. Monterey, Bjorn will be responsible for day to day operations. Bjorn brings over 20 Years of international experience including the past four years as an emergency management consultant to large oil and gas corporations in the Middle East. Bjorn responded to the recent earthquake in Sichuan Province in China, where he assisted in establishing an Emergency Operations Centre for an international non-government organization in the capitol city of Chengdu.
