European Lithium: Experienced Project Director Appointed to Drive Progress at Wolfsberg Lithium Project

European Lithium Limited (ASX:EUR, FRA:PF8, VSE:ELI) (the Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Heili as Project Director for the Company’s advanced Wolfsberg Lithium Project (Wolfsberg) in Austria.

Mr Heili is a highly experienced mining engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in business, project management and wide-ranging operations including underground and beneficiation processes within the mining industry. Mr Heili has an M.Sc. (Eng) from Montan-University of Leoben, Austria, and an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.

Mr Heili has experience with a diverse range of commodities and has worked internationally with previous roles including, overall Project Manager for Katanga Mining Ltd in DRC, Kinross Forrest Ltd in DRC, De Beers in South Africa, AngloGold Ashanti in Mali, Mine Manager for Mopani Copper Mines PLC, Production Manager for African Associated Mines (PVT) Ltd, and Anglo American Corp, VAAL Reefs Exploration and Mining Co. Ltd. Mr Heili previous roles have seen him take responsibility over a large workforce and his experience extends to training and mentoring. Austrian-born Heili is fluent in both English and German.

The appointment further strengthens the Company’s operating management in Austria. Mr Heili will work closely with our new CEO and consultants playing a critical role in overseeing the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) on Wolfsberg, which is anticipated to commence in the third quarter.
