Galan Lithium Limited: Ganfeng Lithium International Joins Galan Register

 

Galan Lithium Limited (ASX:GLN) (Galan or the Company) wishes to announce that further to the lodgement of today’s Form 604 (Change in Substantial Holding) by Raymond Liu/Hongze Group Limited/Havelock Mining Investment Limited, it notifies the market that Ganfeng Lithium International (Ganfeng) has joined the Company’s share register via its wholly owned subsidiary GFL International Co., Limited (GFL).

 

Raymond Liu is the Founding Partner of Havelock Mining Investment Limited. GFL is a major shareholder of Havelock Mining Investment Limited.

 

Ganfeng is one of the world’s largest and China’s largest lithium compounds producer and the world’s largest lithium metals producer in terms of production capacity.

 

Ganfeng was founded in 2000 by Mr. Li. Mr Li and his management team have transformed the company from a lithium compounds processing plant in a niche market industry into a global leader that is primed for sustainable development and growth. In 2010, they became the first listed company in China’s lithium industry with their A Shares listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 002460). Since then, they have started to expand upstream and downstream along the lithium industry value chain. Today, they have the most complete industry value chain among all lithium producers in the world.
