Geoexchange Technology Provider: Essential Innovations Technology – Letter from the President/CEO

Bellingham, Washington, September 30, 2008 – Essential Innovations Technology Corp. (OTCBB: ESIV – FRANKFURT: E6S) is pleased to provide this corporate update to its shareholders and the investment community at large.

Stated Jason McDiarmid, President/CEO, “As it relates specifically to the sales revenues for our manufacturing subsidiary, Essential Innovations Corp. ('EIC'), we're very happy to report revenue growth of 94% for the 9 months ended July 31, 2008, when compared to the same 9-month period in 2007. During our strongest third quarter in our firms' history our manufacturing business recorded $291,947 USD in direct sales of our proprietary Geoexchange equipment for the period. Having just come off our best second quarter for manufacturing where we posted $200,867 in sales, manufacturing continued it’s impressive growth curve for the year, with this 45% quarter (Q3) over quarter (Q2) sales increase. As we look ahead to results for the remainder of Fiscal 2008 and the year 2009 now fast approaching, we are highly confident that EIC will continue to post consistent revenue results for our Company. We wish to further report that we are presently in the final stages of negotiations with certain parties seeking exclusivity to the distribution of our Geothermal and Water Source heat pumps for the Country of Canada, and we look forward to providing specific guidance in the coming weeks once the working relationship is formalized.

In addition to successful on-going production and distribution efforts, we wish to announce that EIC is also in the process of preparing to submit patent documentation pertaining to particular innovative and unique proprietary product developments that relate directly to our line of Geothermal and Water Source heat pumps. Patent filings are expected in the near-term and we will provide further appropriate guidance to the public at that time.

Making reference to previously disclosed efforts that the Company is making in Vietnam, we wish to re-iterate that we are currently moving forward to execute on our objectives to establish a global manufacturing headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At present, formal establishment of our JV Company there is underway and should be completed within 45 - 60 days. From that point, we then expect that prior to the end of Calendar 2008, construction of the plant facility will have began, thereby giving us the opportunity to move forth with global market production and distribution of our product line there within 12-18 months. Our long-term efforts in Vietnam continue to be a very positive development for satisfying our overall future Global objectives.

Today, with our base business being driven by the production, network expansion and ensuing training and dealer support for our proprietary geothermal heat pump technology through EIC, being supported by our supplementary business segment and subsidiary, Earth Source Energy, that itself is capable of providing unique financing options for long-term geothermal loop-field infrastructure installation and management alongside our financing partners, we have set ourselves in a unique position in the Geoexchange industry set.
