LHKX | Capital initiator and advisor for the Barclay Technologies transaction
London, 18 May 2010, London Hong Kong Exchange Plc (“LHKX”) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned group business LHKX | Capital has acted as lead initiator / advisor in association with Worldwide Exchange in regard to the Barclay Technologies (Schweiz) AG transaction that was finalised in on Friday, 7th May 2010.
During the period January– April 2010, LHKX | Capital has acted as the initiator in regard to the introduction of a listed shell company through which Barclay Technologies business has been able to achieve a listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange Open Market within an accelerated time scale. The listed company has now been renamed to Barclay Technologies Holding AG. During the period January – April 2010, LHKX | Capital in association with Worldwide Exchange arranged for seed capital and development capital for the Barclay Technologies business. In February 2010, LHKX made a seed capital investment into the Barclay Technologies business in exchange for 750,000 ordinary shares in the listed company Barclay Technologies Holding AG.
