Motion Network Holding PLC (MNH) has taken a stake of over 55% of Kintessens SAS
Paris, September 18th 2009, Motion Network Holding PLC (MNH) has taken a stake of over 55% of Kintessens SAS, a French digital pictures studio specialised in the production and post production in the areas of commercial and corporate communication, short and feature-length films, television reportages and documentations.
Kintessens is headed by its founder Jean-Marie Villame since 2003, who is one of the most influential independent postproduction managers in the advertising area. Being involved in the scriptwriting as well as finalization of more than 300 films, these last 15 years were strongly influenced by his very personal creative energy.
The new entity, named "MNTV - Kintessens" will be run by Jean-Marie Villame and build on its expertise in the following areas: trailers, digital and 3D images, Design.
“MNTV – Kintessens” will have a four-fold mission:
- Develop the creative team responsible for corporate image MNTV and image of its partners and subsidiaries around the pillars of Mapp Keverne, Art director and production designer, Jean-Baptiste Boiteux, graphic designer and Jean-Marie Villame, producer. This team will also be responsible for the creation of original programming and programming for the 40 local channels.
- Build up the MNTV media centre: Develop and supervise the operation of its network of 40 local branches; distribute common programs such as feature films and centralize the local productions of each MNTV partner in a MNTV pool, to which all partners have access.
- Produce the programs in French for France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg: A daily news and talk show broadcast as well as weekly reportages destined for the European partners.
- Develop tools for production and post production in order to better serve the various projects of MNTV and MNH.
