Orvana Reports Successful Completion of Annual Wage Negotiations at its UMZ Mine in Bolivia

TORONTO, ONTARIO, August 15, 2013 - Orvana Minerals Corp. (TSX:ORV, the “Company”) reports that annual union wage negotiations as mandated under Bolivian law have been successfully completed at its Don Mario Upper Mineralized Zone open-pit mine in Bolivia (the “UMZ Mine”).

The intermittent work disruptions experienced during the wage negotiations ceased in late July and the Company does not expect any further legal work stoppages at the UMZ Mine.
