VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – September 8, 2010 - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: SRL; FSE: CCG) Mr. Fredy Salazar, President and CEO, is pleased to announce drill results from the El Domo anomaly, Las Naves Central area, at the Curipamba Project, Ecuador. All four holes are step outs from previous drilling at the El Domo Deposit, thus adding significantly to the known extent of mineralization.
DDH-Curi-60 encountered the highest intersection received to date within El Domo. This drill hole is located 50 meters North of DDH 50.
Drill Highlights from Diamond Drill Hole (DDH) Curi-60:
• 32.36m @ 3.75 g/t Au, 39.18 g/t Ag, 3.67% Cu, 0.11% Pb and 1.44% Zn.
Including:
• 18.23m @ 5.94 g/t Au, 55.61 g/t Ag, 5.78% Cu, 0.08% Pb and 1.48% Zn.
The total length of the hole was 203.80m with 90 degree strike and -75 degree dip.

DDH 57 is located 50 m west from DDH Curi 48, the total length of the hole was 121.36m with 90 degree strike and -75 degree dip.

• 10.28m @ 2.82 g/t Au, 63.15 g/t Ag, 1.69% Cu, 0.30 % Pb and 5.54 % Zn.

Mr. Fredy Salazar states, “These recent drill holes confirm our belief that the El Domo
Deposit extends significantly to the north and west. We are very pleased with the drilling to
date as all step-out drill holes have intersected mineralization. These additional intersections
confirm the continuity of mineralization to the north and that the core of the El Domo body
has significant high grade and wide sections.”

A QC program was used whereby 5% of all samples sent to the laboratory were standard samples with known silver and gold values. Sample preparation was performed by BSI Inspectorate Quito, Ecuador, using standard industry practices (sample prep minus 32). Analytical work was carried out at the BSI Inspectorate Laboratory in Lima, Peru, using fire assay methods for gold (Au-25 procedure). Standard samples, blanks and duplicate check samples were randomly inserted to the sample batch to ensure quality control.
