TEMEX REPORTS GOLD RESULTS HALLNOR PROPERTY, TIMMINS GOLD CAMP

TORONTO, ONTARIO: Temex Resources Corp. (TSX Venture:TME, Frankfurt:TQ1) ("Temex") announces that drilling on the Hallnor Mine block of the Whitney Township Property (the “Property”) in Timmins continues to intersect significant gold grades at depth. The results reported today are from the fourth wedge hole which targeted the down plunge extension of the 19 Vein that occurs immediately to the west of the former Hallnor Mine boundary.

Hole TW08-77W4 successfully intersected the targeted 19 Vein structure approximately 50 metres west and further up dip of the initial intersection in the pilot hole TW08-77 which intersected 21.10 g/t gold over 6.55 metres including 270.62 g/t gold over 0.50 metres. A broad quartz veined zone containing some fine visible gold yielded 0.99 g/t gold over a core length of 4.70 metres. Two other quartz veined zones intersected below the 19 Vein structure also yielded intersections grading 4.47 g/t gold over 1.50 metres, including 8.66 g/t gold over 0.70 metres, and 5.47 g/t gold over 0.60 metres.

The hole also intersected a broad zone of quartz veinlets and stringers within the projected 13 Vein area and yielded 19.00 g/t gold over 0.80 metres and 2.14 g/t gold over 1.00 metres. Earlier results reported by the Company on the 13 Vein include 86.18 g/t gold over 0.80 metres and 5.90 g/t gold over 9.10 metres approximately 250 metres west and down plunge of an historical drill hole which yielded two closely spaced drill intersections of 22.29 g/t gold over 4.57 metres (0.65 opt gold over 15 feet) and 207.77 g/t gold over 0.61 metres (6.06 opt gold over 2 feet).

The deep drill program continues to intersect strong quartz veining and mineralization along the projected strike extent of the former mine horizons and visible gold has been noted in every hole drilled to date. The presence of visible gold and a strong nugget effect within the vein systems being drill tested was typical of the Lower Hallnor Mine veins where high grade mined stopes commonly had a low percentage of “ore grade” drill hole intersections.

The Property is located in the heart of the Timmins Gold Camp, in the centre of a 4 kilometre, 10+ million ounce gold mine trend and includes the former Hallnor Mine, one of the highest grade gold mines in the Camp with historic production totalling 1.65 million ounces of gold at an average grade of 13.71 g/t (0.40 opt). The Property is owned by Porcupine Gold Mines (“PGM”, a joint venture between Goldcorp Inc. and Goldcorp Canada Ltd.) and Temex has the option to earn a 60% interest.

Note: Temex has implemented a quality control (QA/QC) program which includes the use of standards and blanks. Samples of split NQ core were transported by Company personnel to Swastika Laboratories in Swastika, Ontario in sealed bags. The remaining half of the core was kept as a permanent record and stored at a secure facility in Timmins. The core was analyzed using a 30 gram standard fire assay method. Pulp metallic gold assaying was performed on the larger veins. Intervals reported are core lengths.
