TEMEX REPORTS HIGH GRADE GOLD RESULTS HALLNOR PROPERTY, TIMMINS GOLD CAMP

TORONTO, ONTARIO: Temex Resources Corp. (TSX Venture:TME, Frankfurt:TQ1) ("Temex") announces that drilling on the Hallnor Mine block of the Whitney Township Property (the “Property”) in Timmins continues to intersect high grade gold values at depth. The results reported today are from drill hole TW08-77W6, the sixth wedge hole of the drill program being conducted on the Lower Hallnor Mine block and which targeted the south limb of the 19 Vein structure.

Hole TW08-77W6 yielded 21.02 g/t gold over a core length of 2.30 metres including 77.66 g/t over 0.60 metres from a zone of quartz stringers and veinlets on the south limb of the 19 Vein system. The new intersection lies approximately 50 and 100 metres below and down dip of the 19 Vein intersections previously encountered in holes TW08-77W1 and TW08-77, which yielded 3.15 g/t gold over 3.10 metres and 21.10 g/t over 6.55 metres respectively. This intersection is significant as it represents the deepest 19 Vein intersection drilled to date in the West Boundary area and where previous mining had not crossed the former Lower Hallnor Mine’s west boundary due to a lack of ownership at that time.

Hole TW08-77W6 also intersected a broad zone of quartz veinlets and stringers within the projected 13 Vein area and yielded significant assay results of 17.83 g/t gold over 0.50 metres and 1.53 g/t gold over 1.00 metres. Previous results reported by Temex from the current drill program include 86.18 g/t gold over 0.50 metres within a zone grading 5.90 g/t gold over 9.10 metres and 19.00 g/t gold over 0.80 metres. These holes occur approximately 250 metres west and down plunge of an historic hole which yielded 2.29 g/t gold over 4.57 metres and 207.77 g/t gold over 0.61metres. The fifth wedge hole TW08-77W5 was not completed due to technical drilling issues.

Commented Ian Campbell, President and CEO, “The drill intersections reported to date continue to meet and exceed our expectations for demonstrating the extensions of the previously mined high grade gold systems. We are particularly pleased with the fact that all holes drilled to date have intersected the main mine horizons tested and that these are characterized by mineralization including visible gold in every hole, alteration and structure typical of the mined areas. The presence of visible gold and a strong nugget effect within the vein systems being drill tested was typical of the Lower Hallnor Mine veins where high grade mined stopes commonly had a low percentage of ore grade drill hole intersections.”

Drilling is on-going in the 19 Vein area which has historically provided the highest gold grades in the former Lower Hallnor Mine. The two main high grade vein systems mined up to this former boundary were the 11 and 19 Veins which produced 450,000 tons grading 0.30 opt (10.29 g/t) gold and 650,000 tons grading 0.42 opt (14.40 g/t) gold.

The Property is located in the heart of the Timmins Gold Camp, in the centre of a 4 kilometre, 10+ million ounce gold mine trend and includes the former Hallnor Mine, one of the highest grade gold mines in the Camp with historic production totalling 1.65 million ounces of gold at an average grade of 0.40 opt (13.71 g/t) gold. The Property is owned by Porcupine Gold Mines (“PGM”, a joint venture between Goldcorp Inc. and Goldcorp Canada Ltd.) and Temex has the option to earn a 60% interest.

Note: Temex has implemented a quality control (QA/QC) program which includes the use of standards and blanks. Samples of split NQ core were transported by Company personnel to Swastika Laboratories in Swastika, Ontario in sealed bags. The remaining half of the core was kept as a permanent record and stored at a secure facility in Timmins. The core was analyzed using a 30 gram standard fire assay method. Pulp metallic gold assaying was performed on the larger veins. Intervals reported are core lengths.
