Terra Ventures Inc.: Six More Drill Holes Intersect Uranium Mineralization at Midwest NE Property

Terra Ventures Inc. is pleased to provide an exploration update on the Midwest NorthEast Uranium property in which Terra owns a 10% production carried interest. Hathor Exploration (TSX-V: HAT) owns the remaining 90% in the property.

In a press release dated March 25 Hathor reports “Further to its news release dated March 3, 2008, Hathor Exploration Limited (HAT–TSX.V) is pleased to announce gamma ray scintillometer results from an additional seven drill holes completed on its Midwest NorthEast Property, Saskatchewan, in the immediate vicinity of its discovery drill hole MWNE-08-12, which intersected uranium mineralization including 11.9 metres grading 5.29 per cent U3O8.

Six drill holes (MWNE-08-16 through MWNE-08-21) have extended the uranium mineralization that was intersected in hole MWNE-08-12. This area of basement-hosted mineralization is now referred to as the “Roughrider Zone”.

Natural gamma emission radiation in drill core from these holes was measured in counts per second (cps) using a hand-held Exploranium GR-110G gamma-ray scintillometer. Individual zones (ranging from 20 cm to 2.8 metres) of highly-radioactive (5,000 cps to greater than 9,999 cps (off-scale)) mineralization were encountered within broader zones of elevated radioactivity (>500 cps), of up to 14.9 metres, in drill holes MWNE-08-16 through MWNE-08-21. Scintillometer results of >999 cps are presented below. The reader is cautioned that scintillometer readings are not directly or uniformly related to uranium grades of the rock sample measured, and should be used only as a preliminary indication of the presence of radioactive materials. Because of the length of time before laboratory assay results are available, Hathor uses scintillometer readings as a reliable guide for its on-going drill program. As an example, off-scale scintillometer readings in hole MWNE-08-12 returned laboratory assay results grading as high as 40.20% U308 over a 20 cm core interval.

Drill hole MWNE-08-12 was drilled at an azimuth of N320oE and a dip of -70o to a total depth of 333 metres.

Drill hole MWNE-08-16 was a vertical hole collared 79 metres at a bearing of N320oE from drill hole WNE-08-12 and drilled to a total depth of 416 metres. Scintillometer results >999 cps are:

Drill core samples from the latest holes completed in the Roughrider Zone will be submitted for assay analyses to the Geoanalytical Laboratories of the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), with facilities operating in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (CAN-P-4E) general requirements for the competence of mineral testing and calibration laboratories. No anomalous scintillometer readings were reported from hole MWNE-08-14. Holes MWNE-08-13 and MWNE-08-15 were not drilled in the vicinity of the Roughrider Zone and did not produce anomalous scintillometer readings.

Assay results (together with mineralized intervals, geological synopses and pertinent downhole, gamma-ray radiometric probe results including eU3O8 grades) will be released following their receipt from the SRC. The reader is cautioned that assay results are not expected for a period of at least eight weeks from the delivery of core samples to the SRC laboratory in Saskatoon.

The current winter exploration program, utilizing two diamond drills contracted from Boart Longyear Inc., is expected to continue for another 2 weeks depending on the continuance of safe ice conditions required for drilling.

Hathor's 90-per-cent-owned Midwest Northeast project is located in northern Saskatchewan's Athabasca basin, immediately adjacent to the Midwest property of AREVA Resources Canada Inc., Denison Mines Corp. and OURD Canada Co. Ltd. There, subject to regulatory approvals, mine site construction is slated to begin in mid-2009 and open-pit mining of a shallow orebody that grades 5.47 per cent uranium oxide is planned for early 2010. Terra Ventures (TAS-TSX.V) owns a 10% production carried interest in the Midwest Northeast Property.

Points North Landing, a regional service centre to the region, is located about eight kilometres from Hathor's Midwest NorthEast property and the modern AREVA-operated McClean Lake uranium mill facilities are located approximately 10 kilometres to the east.”
