VIOR COMPLETES FIRST DRILLING PROGRAM ON BUTEUX PROPERTY

VIOR COMPLETES FIRST DRILLING PROGRAM ON BUTEUX PROPERTY

Québec City, April 22, 2008 – Vior Inc. (“Vior”) has released results of six drill holes completed on its Buteux-Fecteau property located south of Chibougamau-Chapais, Province of Québec. This wide-grid drilling program followed-up on several IP (Induced polarization) conductors and several gold showings some of which were known previously, others discovered during field work carried on the property last fall.

A total of 1266 metres were completed during this drilling campaign, the first four drill- holes to verify the extensions of the Sigouin-Griffith-Desgagné showing. Drill-hole BU-08-01 tested the structure 100 metres to the west and 135 metres at depth. Drill-hole BU-08-02 was collared underneath the showing to a depth of 140 metres. Drill-hole BU-08-03 tested the structure 100 metres eastward to a depth of 190 metres while drill-hole BU-08-04 targeted the structure 200 metres eastward to a depth of 100 metres.

The four holes intersected the sheared tonalite-granodiorite structure containing quartz veinlets and disseminated pyrite. The structure varies in thickness from 1 to 4 metres. The best intersection returned 14.5 g/t Au over 1 metre (BU-08-02) while other intervals returned 1.4 g/t Au over 1 metre, (BU-08-01), 0,2 g/t Au over 4.0 metres (BU -08-03) and 0.6 g/t Au over 2.0 metres (BU-08-04) (see Table 1)

Drill-hole BU-08-05 was collared directly under the Guylaine showing discovered in the fall of 2007 (see PR dated October 25, 2007) and intersected the structure 75 metres below surface. The sheared tonalite-granodiorite structure was identified over more than 10 metres. Although no anomalous values were encountered, this structure which yielded 36.7 g/t Au in one chosen surface sample remains an exceptional exploration target.

The sixth drill-hole (BU-08-06) tested an IP conductor located 1.1 kilometre east-northeast of the Sigouin-Griffith showing. This conductor was explained by a shear zone altered by hematite injected with quartz veinlets, containing up to 10% disseminated pyrite. The mineralized intersection returned 0.24 g/t Au over 10.7 metres.

The 154-claim wholly-owned Buteux-Fecteau property which covers 9100 hectares is located in the Urban-Barry greenstone segment, east of the Abitibi greenstone belt and approximately 20 kilometres east of a discovery announced by Noront Resources in December 2006 (1,792.9 g/t Au over 4.8 metres). This section of the Abitibi geological sub-province remains relatively unexplored and several showings as well as a number of conductors revealed by an IP survey performed in the fall of 2007 have to be tested eventually by further diamond drilling. A second IP survey is currently being conducted on the north-east section of the property.

This recent drilling program also tested the extensions of the Fecteau Lake showing (FEC-98-01, 1.6% Zn over 4.5 metres), located in the northern section of the property. Final assays are pending for three drill-holes completed in this area.

Profile
Vior is a growing mining company focused on acquiring and developing high quality, low risk gold and base metal resource prospects in accessible mining areas of Québec. The Company wholly owns the Douay gold project on which an NI 43-101 compliant independent resource evaluation was recently completed (See press release dated November 7, 2007). Vior is aggressively pursuing opportunities to develop working interests in mineral properties that offer significant upside exploration potential. Vale Inco Limited is the largest shareholder of Vior with an 11% interest.
