Yield Growth Files Patent for Cannabis Root Extraction Method with Ultrasonic Waves for Patent Priority in over 150 Countries

April 16th, 2019 – Vancouver, B.C. – The Yield Growth Corp. (CSE:BOSS) (OTC:BOSQF) (Frankfurt: YG3) announces it has filed a patent application to protect its inventions for hemp root oil and its use in certain formulas.

Subsidiary Urban Juve Provisions last week filed a Patent Co-operation Treaty (“PCT”) patent application entitled "Cannabis Root Extract, Method of Manufacture, Method of Use".  The application claims priority to eleven US patents filed in the last year by the company, and contains claims to a method of manufacture of cannabis root oil, as well as use of that oil as an active ingredient in various formulations for use as therapeutics and cosmetics.    This PCT patent application can be used as a basis for obtaining patent protection in over 150 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.

The patent covers Urban Juve’s extraction technology which uses ultrasonic waves to disrupt the cells in hemp root,  which method is claimed to increase the quantity of recoverable desirable active compounds recovered from the root.  Then, the cannabis root oil product is nanoized with the addition of a surfactant, to produce a water in oil emulsion, using  an ultrasonic process to produce an emulsion measurable in the 20 – 40 nanometer range.
