Salt Lake City, U.S.A. – April 24, 2013 - Ivy International Holding Corp. gives the following press release in connection with the marketing and sale of “.GW” Internet Top Level Domain names of the country Guinea Bissau as Global Web.
Since several weeks the companies
GWNIC Official Registry SARL - Guinea Bissau
NIC Domain Investment PLC – England
GW NIC Global Web Service LTD – England
are claiming to have the exclusive licensing and distribution rights of the ccTLD ".gw" of the country Guinea-Bissau and they are offering shares to investors also they offer to buy “.gw” Internet Domain Names to the public based on this claims.
This is all done by the mentioned companies without having a permission of the country Guinea Bissau and also there is no confirmation by IANA.
The ARN as the regulatory authority of the country of Guinea Bissau, informed us, that there was no license and no contract legally granted to Antonio da Silva, the director of the company GWNIC Official Registry LLC.
IANA, the global coordinator of the DNS root authority in the United States informed us that an e-mail, allegedly sent by their director Kim Davis, to the Director of the company NIC Domain Investment PLC, Mr. Sigmund Lex is forged! NIC Domain Investment PLC presents this forged email to prospective investors to raise funds.
In addition, the above-mentioned companies have no right to use the Trademark "Global Web" (German Patent Office Registration No. 30,361,961) for the ccTLD [. GW].
We like to point out:
Karl H. Kotowski as an Individual is legally the "Sponsoring Organization" and represents the rights of the ccTLD ".gw" and he had transferred his rights to Ivy International Holding Corp., a U.S. Corporation registered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Therefore, it is not certain that buyers who purchase “.gw” domain names through the company GWNIC Official Registry LLC or GW NIC Gobal Ltd. Web Service, or have bought and paid for, will receive or can use these domain names.
