(Symbol: RRIF) and its subsidiary RAINFOREST DEL ECUADOR are pleased to announce the beginning of negotiations with the Peñafiel Family for the acquisition of the 6,770 hectares property in Paulo Sexto, province of Morona Santiago, Ecuador, next to the land of our SUMAKSACHA project.

The acquisition of this new property will allow us to expand the land included in our project, to increase the volume of protected areas for reforestation and the protection of flora and fauna, which will provide the possibility of obtaining more carbon credits in the future.

In addition, we are analyzing the possibility of entering in negotiations with the Arias family for the acquisition of another 6,125 hectares next to our SUMAKSACHA project property.
