WORLDLINK TAKES STEPS TO PROTECT ITS PATENTS

SIGNIFICANT NUMBERS OF COMPANIES INFRINGING PATENT TERMS

Worldlink, the owner of the UK and US patent for the transmission of profiled REAL-time data to mobile devices, is drawing up plans to grant licences to those companies and software developers that are infringing its patents.

This is the second phase of Worldlink’s business plan. The first priority was to generate revenues which the Company has now achieved via advertising and transaction income brought about by the audience the Company now commands due to the significant take up of its i-mobilemarkets service which provides REAL-time financial information to mobile phones and desktop computers.

Worldlink now plans to protect its patents and will be writing to unlicensed companies to grant licenses according to the type of use. Users of the technology include financial services companies, software developers, and betting companies, worldwide. The Company has sort legal opinion on the strength of its patents which has confirmed that there are a growing number of companies that infringe Worldlink’s intellectual property.

Intellectual Property is a vital part of Worldlink’s business and Worldlink is ready to take legal action against any unlicensed users.

This we have achieved by building up a significant base of i-mobilemarkets customers which is now large enough to be attractive to advertisers. We are now gearing up to start tackling those companies who are infringing our patents. We will use all endeavours to ensure that companies and products that infringe will be contacted and asked to enter into a license agreement with Worldlink. Failure to do so will result in legal action being taken.”
