Greenvironment joins forces with Italian Capstone distributor IBT Group
- Expansion of product portfolio
- Strategic sales cooperation with well established Capstone partner
- Short term revenue potential

Berlin, 18th August 2011 - Greenvironment Plc (WKN: A0YEKX / Symbol: GIV) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic cooperation with IBT Group (www.ibtgroup.it), based in Treviso, Italy.

IBT was established in 2000 as a firm specializing in developing, proposing, and assisting system integration solutions based on innovative technologies in the field of high efficiency energy generation. The company relies on over 10 years of experience in this field, focusing on both natural and biogas high-tech cogeneration and trigeneration services based on microturbines.

The IBT fleet has reached over 120 running microturbines in 2010, mainly providing turn-key solutions for the hospitality sector, retail and industrial facilities, landfills and WWTP, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), and utilities.

Moreover IBT has an extensive experience in the field of cooling technologies, including absorption chillers, centrifugal chillers and HVAC applications. Thanks to a commercial agreement with the South-Korean company Century Corporation, IBT exclusively markets these products in Europe throughout its subsidiary IBT EUROPE GmbH based in Klagenfurt, Austria.

Both companies are long-term Capstone distributors having their own expertise areas - Greenvironment especially on power plant control & monitoring and IBT being strong on Combined Cooling Heat & Power (CCHP) solutions. The cooperation enables both companies to provide each other’s technology to their respective end customers. Greenvironment will immediately start marketing IBT’s products on its core markets and will combine them as part of its product offering where applicable.

Ilario Vigani, Founder and President of IBT Group, states: "This cooperation is a good example of true win-win. The companies’ excellent know-how and joint expertise will provide first-class CHP and CCHP solutions to a wider range of customers. We will benefit from each other’s know-how as we are working with similar technologies and have not been competing against each other’s anywhere so there’s really no overlapping of the businesses. We are really looking for the fruits of this cooperation to arrive shortly.”

Matti Malkamäki, CEO of Greenvironment Plc, said: "Decentralized CHP business is developing fast. Instead of standard heating boilers customers are seeking more and more for CHP’s and even for CCHP’s or other more developed forms of power plants. Through this cooperation we can really offer more integrated solutions for our valued customers throughout our market. We see a lot of potential for this cooperation already in the very near future.”
