New African Mining: Investment by a member of the senior management as of December 1st 2008.

Dear New African Mining shareholder

New African Mining is proud to announce an investment by a member of its senior management Deon Kotze, Chief Operating Officer has invested R 3 M into New African Mining which was recently de-listed from the Frankfurt stock exchange. The investment was made at 70c / US $ which amounts to 421,400 shares.

While the global economic downturn and recession has affected every segment of the market and all industries, senior management is confident that New African Mining is well positioned to weather the downturn and to grow even stronger retaining its position as a leading junior diamond producing company.

Deon said that he had been planning for a long time to increase his stake in the company and notwithstanding the difficult market conditions facing the industry he felt that NAM was well positioned to come through the difficult period in the market and also be able to take advantage of opportunities that may come about during the coming year.

He believes that the current production from Simolotse, the 0.5 to 3 carat range would be the least affected section of the market.

In other company news it was also decided to close the Kamfersdam tailings operation till the market in small sizes improved. The company is also continuing discussions on the acquisition of Schmidtsdrift.
