Vida Green, Ltd.  Continues Testing In the Large US Apple Processing Market

The Company Starts Testing with Large Fruit Company, Auvil Fruit Company

10. Mar. 2014. Salt Lake City, Utah. Vida Green, Ltd. (dual listed on the Deutsche Boerse, Frankfurt and Bermuda Exchanges),  (VDG), a Bermuda publicly listed company that develops and markets green, natural and organic products for diverse industries, today announced testing commencement with Auvil Fruit Company, located in Wasshinton State USA.

Founded in Washington State, home of some of the largest apple fruit growers in the world, in 1928, Auvil Fruit Company has produced high quality, premium fruit to some of the largest fruit retailers in the US. Auvil is progressive and dedicated to continued agricultural research and deveopment, which has led to many innovations in the fruit industry.

“We are quite excited that Vida Green will begin begin testing its product, Nano-ActionTM Activate, with Auvil Fruit Company’s apple processing applications in Washington,” said John Hopkins, Vida Green Ltd.’s CEO.

Nano-ActionTM Activate is a safe biodegradable and green cleaning additive added to wash water that acts like a super surfactant enhancer by reducing surface tension of the water. This core Vida Green product has completed extensive testing and approval processesIt is FDA certified safe for food grade ingredient; approved for use by the National Sanitation Foundation for Potable Water use; and approved and certified for marine use in maritime applications by the U.S. Coast Guard and the International Maritime Organization

“As an agricultural product, Nano-ActionTM Activate simply makes water wetter. Its natural, yeast based protein additive reduces surface tension, so that our Empowered WaterTM can break down and remove contaminants, such as oils, pesticides, etc. on food products and production equipment,” said Hopkins.   “This product really meets corporate goal of creating environmentally responsible solutions for Consumer and Food and Agricultural markets.  Nano-ActionTM Activate fits really well with our other products such as electrolyzed and ionized Empowered WaterTM.”

Nano-ActionTM Activate is non-toxic, environmentally benign, and fully biodegradable. This protein surfactant solution has been tested and proven effective in many food-based applications ranging from cleaning commercial bakery facilities to national fast food franchises.

Our experience with the Nano-ActionTM Activate and our electrolyzed Empowered WaterTM has helped us pinpoint the fruit cleaning application as an immediate and responsible use of our products to safely clean agricultural food products,” said Randall Waters, Director of Sales for Vida Green.  “Our in-house testing has shown that the increased surface activity of the treated water will improve the water effectiveness and remove contaminants from the fruit during the cleaning wash.”

We are very interested in this new technology and its attendant productsWe have already identified several applications in our orchards as well as our fruit packing plants that could be impacted by the Nano-ActionTM Activate solution. We’ve also introduced high-end apple cider products to the test.  This dedicated in-house bottling facility requires a cleaning process using electrolyzed water that could well be improved with the Nano-ActionTM Activate surfactant,” said Walt Hough, Director of Operations of Auvil Fruit Company.

Our experience with the Nano-ActionTM Activate and electrolyzed water has helped us pinpoint the fruit cleaning application as an immediate, responsible and profitable use of our products to safely clean agricultural food products,” said Randall Waters, Director of Sales for Vida Green.  “Our in-house testing has shown that the increased surface activity of the treated water will improve help the water kill and remove contaminants from the fruit during the cleaning wash, which will improve the quality of the fruit treated.”
